Youth and children
As a church, we believe that youth and children and special to God and an important part of the church of today.
We run a number of activities to cover all ages:
- Little Angels – a Sunday morning group for under 3s to have fun and start to learn about Jesus, which happens every week during the preach
- Smarties – a fun programme for 3s to 5s that meets weekly on a Sunday during the preach
- Transformers – a dynamic and engaging programme for 5 to 11 year olds including worship, craft, games and a talk about Jesus. Transformers happens during the whole of the service every week, except for the first Sunday of the month when the children joining the adults for a combined time of worship
- Fresh Youth for years 7 – 10 happens every other Sunday morning during the preach, offering young people the opportunity for their own time for games, teaching and discussion
- Youth activities during the week – Restore also holds weekly youth meetings for years 7, 8 and 9 (Fresh: Overdrive), years 10 and 11 (Fresh: Core), and years 11 and 12 (fresh: older youth). In addition, there are regular social events andopportunities to worship together, and an annual visit to Soul Survivor. Full details are available on the fresh youth website
